We believe that one of the ways we can best serve our local community, is by offering same-day fresh, local produce, year round, in the form of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) or vegetable share program.
A CSA is a partnership between the farmer and the CSA member. We commit to provide you with a weekly delivery of the fresh, local produce we grow, and in return you support us through any ups and downs of the growing season. Shares are purchased in advance, allowing us to cover the upfront costs of planting and growing produce.
NewLeaf CEA is in a unique position to extend the CSA model beyond the typical Ontario growing season. By growing indoors we are not affected by climate. That means that you get to enjoy local produce in the "off-season", when it would be largely unavailable.
